There are lots of ramen places in Vancouver, but BEEF ramen is a rare breed. BEEST on average is about 20% more expensive than the others, but it sure has a unique touch to its noodle. Whether it's the mazesoba or the soup, it's got a rich beef aroma and is packed with umami. If I wanna treat someone to a special experience, or I am feeling rich that day, this is the place to go for.

The broth and ramen are of authentic flavor. The soup is rich but not salty. The beef is tender. The inside is clean and contemporary. Sitting is spacious compared to a typical ramen place. We also got the free ice cream by signing up the free membership !

Some fantastic ramen at the heart of Robson Street! They have some of the richest broth that we have ever tasted, and we really liked the way they cooked their katsu. A bit on the pricer side, but definitely worth the price. I highly recommend their sesame based broth :)

Sooo delicious. We got the garlic mazemen and tomato parmesan ramen with karaage and pepper beef tapioca. All so good. Staff were so friendly. Would definitely go back again!

It was a cold day and we were hungry and I had this place marked for places to try. When we were there it was pretty quiet. We were greeted and sat right away. Menu was simple the way and price changes depending on how much meat you want in your dish. We got the small portion but it was enough. I was surprised how good it was. The meat was really good and noodles and broth was good as well! We also got vanilla ice cream at the end for free which was perfect to end the meal. You can join their membership for free to get the ice cream and other bonuses so make sure to sign up! I will def revisit and recommend!

A nice place to try out... tho it’s too quiet because I think the staff forgot to turn the music on... My friend and I needs to whisper while talking ... but! Overall... Food is really good ...

We ordered shoyu Ramen, spicy miso ramen, smoked beef mazemen, and chicken karaage, and everything was beyond our expectations. Food was yum; Restaurant itself was clean with beautiful interior design. I would definitely recommend to try their fry garlic flakes (on table, free), so fresh.

It’s not often you can find beef based Japanese ramen - this place has nailed it, leaving you wishing you had a roast beef ramen shop in your own city. The ambiance of the restaurant captured American steakhouse vibes with Japanese roots. Service was great with the server giving great recommendations and always refilling our water! The meat - I typically don’t like roast beef, but the thinness of the slices, infused with smoky black pepper, transformed this cut of meat into something luxurious. I had their shoyu mazemen with 6 oz of roast beef and 200 g noodles, perfect size for (somewhat small) someone feeling ravenous. The noodles were perfectly chewy and al dente. I didn’t leave feeling too “beefed out”, as could be the case after a large KBBQ/JBBQ dinner - instead, feeling like my itch for protein was scratched just right. My partner got the shio garlic ramen which was also amazing, but if you’re wanting something more punchy/bold, go for the shoyu mazemen. This place is a must visit for a unique ramen experience!
